Busy career person? You may need an uncomplicated, quick system with meal replacements. Maybe a points system without calorie counting could be more effective for you.
Type A personality? Maybe a strict calorie counting regimen may suit you.
Sedentary lifestyle? Learning about how to begin a more active lifestyle with simple calorie-burning activities will help you along with healthy diet.
Diabetic with obesity? There are medications for diabetes now which can aid weight loss.
Slow metabolism? You can learn how to speed it up.
Ravenous appetite? Consider initial use of appetite suppressants until you learn self-control.
And for many people, bariatric surgery is the answer.
Change comes when you are uncomfortable enough in your life that you are finally willing to step out of your comfort zone and try something new.
I have incorporated all of the above techniques in my medical practice and they are all successful. What are you willing to do? What fits your needs? Have an honest conversation with your doctor or a fitness specialist to find out.

Good morning. What have you tried? What failures and successes have you had? Food is your friend. What you put into your body is what you will get out of it. Eat fatty, high calorie foods in large quantities then your body will reflect that. If you can control your eating, eat healthy foods, eat less calories than you burn per day and practice other good habits, more than likely, you will lose weight and transform your body. You have to love yourself, forgive yourself for the mistakes of the past that have stopped you from losing weight, and move forward with a positive, self-loving attitude. Do you have the courage to analyze your weight loss failures and successes? Remember, insanity is doing the same thing over and over again with the expectation of a different result. There are many methods to weight loss. If we talk some more, maybe we can come up with a realistic strategy to fit your individual needs.
Hey, web-surfers. I'm an MD curious about weight loss woes of the public. I spend a lot of time trying to aid and educate my patients on weight loss everyday in my practice. Many of my clients successfully lose weight using various methods, including surgical, but others have a harder time. I hoped to reach out to the general public to learn from you out there. We can help each other. Let's talk honestly. I too have been in the weight loss struggle for most of my life and have finally succeeded, so I can relate to the frustrations. I would love to talk with anyone who's interested and I will update the page periodically with cool tips. Who knows... Since I do have access to other MDs, I may invite them to blog with y'all in the future, if there is enough interest. Look forward to "chewing the fat" with y'all.
